Description
The bumps of the Giant Long have the same length as those of the meteorite, but are much narrower. In addition, the distance between the individual bumps is correspondingly greater. The surface of the bumps is again slightly fluted, the bumps are medium hard. After banning the smooth long bumps with the Giant Long, Giant Dragon has developed a bump that offers the maximum possible disruptive effect at a fairly low speed and good control. For players who want even more disruptive effect than the meteorite, but don't want to forgo high control (which is not quite as high as the meteorite), the Giant Long is the right long bump. This bump can be used for block play at the table as well as for undercut defense. It requires relatively little use of the wrist, but slightly more than in the meteorite. Also, the Giant Long is a little more susceptible to incoming rotation due to the thinner bumps.
