Description
The Dragon Talon has extremely far apart bumps, but they are also rather wide. The bumps are maximum long and also very soft. They are also highly elastic and are among the most flexible in our offer.
The Dragon Talon is an overall rather fast long bump. In the passive game, the bump can take a lot of pace out of the game, in the active game the Dragon Talon offers high acceleration values due to its extreme elasticity.
The disruptive effect of the Dragon Talon is very high, the control is not easy. The Dragon Talon can be used for all types of strokes, but there are better pads for the undercut defense.
The playing characteristics are clearly different from those of the forbidden smooth long bumps, especially since the grip of the fluted bump heads is also high.
However, the wide interpretation of the bumps makes this surface interesting for players who prefer a block game at the table.
The Dragon Talon is available in ox (without sponge), with a standard medium-hard Chinese sponge in 0.5 mm and 1.0 mm and with a damping sponge in 0.9 mm and 1.5 mm. The variants with damping sponge are the slowest with the least control.
Note: In 0.5 / 1.0 mm "Dragon Talon Special" is written on packaging, in ox /0.9 / 1.5 mm only "Dragon Talon". Attention: On the Internet, rumours have spread through competitors that the versions with 0.5 and 1.0 mm sponge will no longer be produced. This is not correct. At least for us, these versions will continue to be produced in the future.
Speed: 62/65/69
Disturbing effect: 98
Control: 85/82/79
Hardness: 42º-44º
