The Friendship 802 SP is a completely new rubber with ITTF approval, which has only a few things in common with the classic Friendship 802.
Like the 802, the 802 SP is an offensive short pimple rubber.
In all other respects, however, the two rubbers differ significantly in some cases.
In our opinion, the open-pore underlayment has a hardness of approx. 42-44 degrees and also offers a light built-in instant glue effect. However, the bottom layer is not extremely fast, the speed of this rubber is mainly generated by the rubber top layer.
The 802 SP is particularly suitable for the typical short stud game with counter and block balls, but playing with rotation is also possible.
The OX version is ideal for the block game close to the table.
