Description

The Palio Flying Dragon Biotech is a very fast short bump with a rather soft sponge (hardness according to the manufacturer 36-38 degrees, but is harder). The bumps of the Flying Dragon are slightly narrower (but still wide) and slightly longer than those of the Power Dragon, as well as very grippy and very elastic.

The sponge is "factory-tuned", so it offers a built-in fresh adhesive effect.

The effet values of the Flying Dragon are higher than with most other short bumps.

Thus, this surface is a very good option for an offensive topspin game with short bumps. Even in thin sponge thicknesses, this surface is more than fast enough for powerful attacking strokes.

Overall, the Flying Dragon is a covering for tech-savvy players and not for those who want to cover up a weak backhand with short bumps.

It is best suited for players with slightly longer arm movements and frequent play from half-distance.

Compared to SpinLord's short bumps, the upper rubber is playfully at least as good, but less processed. However, the sponge is slightly less high-quality and is not even one of the best sponges of Palio, since the elasticity is only in the middle range.
